After college Joanna spent five years as part of the founding staff at the at the Five Star Haute Cuisine French Restaurant "Chanticlair" located in Irvine, CA. Later Joanna’s communications career started while working within some of Orange Counties’ top advertising agencies and within some top home building firms as a home interior designer. She started her event planning career in corporate communications as a corporate event planner, creating and coordinating trade shows, events, and conferences throughout the country. Joanna embracing her long and highly textured career in fine food cuisine, mixology, interior design, merchandising, advertising, public relations, and with lots of fresh ideas created Joanna Hendrie Events & Fêtes in 2007. Having a deep love of all things French, the people and country Joanna knew early on she wanted to be an entrepreneur and wanted nothing more than create a “French Inspired Lifestyle Company”.
For her clients’ and for her friends’ weddings, events, parties and soirees, Joanna immediately knows the mood, the style; she hears the music, she designs the fashion & décor, she tastes the cuisine and sips the Champagne, and envisions in her mind's eye the color palette for each and every event detail long before, these concepts are set to paper with pen.
