Joanna Hendrie Joie de Vivre & Cie is a boutique event design and catering company located in Newport Beach, California and founded by Canadian born Joanna Hendrie. Joanna raised in Arcadia, California has lived in Newport Beach all her life. After college, Joanna spent a number of years working at Chantéclair Restaurant in Newport Beach. Chantéclair was an innovative haute cuisine restaurant, a source of fine international gourmet dining and the home to one of the most prolific food and wine menus in Orange County. Clearly, it was here that Joanna truly became fascinated with fine dining and cooking. Early on she realized she could replicate the fine foods of France using the very best of Orange County’s locally grown and varied organic foods.
With an ongoing love affair with Paris – her bistros, restaurants, Salon de Thes, Epiceries, Boulangeries, Patisseries, Joanna created Joanna Hendrie Joie De Vivre & Cie and has set her sights on recreating the food, the service, the style, and the products of France.
